Stay Filled: Fueling Up with God's Power

I want to talk to you today about something that’s seems so simple, but we often forget in the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. It's something that I've been guilty of forgetting, but it's so important in our walk with God...
staying connected with God and filled with the Holy Spirit.
First... We want to hear from you!
Have you ever felt spiritually drained?
Yes.
No.
I don't know.
Now, we know from Scripture that we’ve been called to do good works, to bear fruit, and to walk in power. But here’s the truth: you can’t pour from an empty cup. Being filled implies that we can also be depleted. Just like your car needs gas to run, you and I need to be filled to keep going strong in the things of God.

Think about it. When your car runs out of fuel, what do you do? You don't just wish it full or ignore the blinking gas light. You pull into a gas station—the only place that can give your car what it needs. It’s the same for us spiritually. When we’re low on peace, low on strength, low on patience or purpose, we can’t just push through on our own. We have to seek the Source.
And what does the Bible say? "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God..." Why? Because God is our only source of true strength, renewal, and power. Just like the gas station is where your car gets filled, God’s presence is where you get filled.
Scripture: Matthew 6:33
Too many of us are too comfortable running on fumes, trying to handle spiritual battles with empty tanks. And then we wonder why we’re burnt out, frustrated, or discouraged. But God never meant for us to run on our own strength. He invites us to come to Him daily to be refilled, refreshed, and refueled by His Spirit.
So, I want to encourage both you and myself today: Let's make it a priority to seek God first. Get in His Word. Spend time in prayer. Sit in His presence. Let's let Him fill us with what only He can provide, His Spirit, His power, and His peace.
Because when we're filled, we're fruitful. When we're filled, we're powerful. And when we're filled, we're ready to do every good work He’s called you to.

God,
I know You love me. I believe You died and rose from the dead for my sins. Please forgive me for my sins. I give you my heart and soul. Please be my Savior and Lord. Transform me. I desire to align with Your Will. Thank you for Your faithfulness and Your Love.
